Sega Joystick Transformed Into “Robo-Space-Bug”

There have been a lot of different custom modifications made to video game controllers, but nothing like this.  Pratt student James Killinger is the man responsible for this awesome controller transformation.  The joystick(shown above) which he had bought at a $5 garage sale became the victim of a project which was, “to take an object, break it down to its rawest pieces, and recombine into something new.”

Robo-Bug

It’s pretty apparent he succeeded with achieving the goal of the project and creating something pretty awesome in the process.  Let’s hope that Mr Killinger got an A.  You can check out his Coroflot portfolio for more pics of this creation.

Wow, thats pretty Awesome to take a $5 controller and transform it into a Robo-Space-Bug. I always wonder how long it takes for 1 person to make such a creative masterpiece.

Another way of handling a controller, or making something awesome out of something old.
