Well, I guess the title of this could be deceptive, or it could tell the truth in some way. Community man Robert Bowling spoke in London about the upcoming Modern Warfare 2. He spoke mostly of its depth of customization and content, saying, “It really caters to the hardcore gamer who wants to dive in deep.”
With games like this, the more players put into the game the more they get out of it. In the last game, players were offered a similar system, but now, the content will go a lot deeper. With this, the more “Casual” gamers simply won’t get to enjoy some of the better guns and perks for a while, and the hardcore gamers shall own you, pretty much. Enjoy Modern Warfare 2 on November 10th regardless of how “hardcore” you are.
i cant see this being that bad of a thing, even for the less experienced they can still get into it and play while having some upgrades and perks. its not like the casual players will be at such a huge disadvantage if they dont want to dive deeper into the customization.
I don’t care whether casual gamers will whine about the customization because ‘teh srs playerz will gets betthur wepons then us’. It’s there, deal with it, to you the choice if you do something with it or not.

Come on, everyone and their mother has played CoD:4 and/or WaW. Also this is the FPS genre, there really aren’t “noobs” these days.
I am sure all gamers alike will enjoy MW2 tenfold, from the single player all the way to the competitive side of online multiplayer.
I’m really interested in this “deep customization,” maybe it’s the RPG’er in me..lol. I soooo can’t wait for this game. This and Borderlands should hopefully keep me happy for a long time.
