Yesterday we found some scans of the New Super Mario Bros Wii, now we’ve been blessed with some screenshots and a video. All I have to say is, this game looks like old fashioned Mario with a new school twist. That and New Super Mario Bros. on the DS. Either way, this game looks great and is a great reason to finally pick up that Nintendo Wii I’ve been meaning to buy. New Super Mario Bros Wii will be out November 15th.

i sold my wii but this makes me want it again, its nice to see mario back in 2d on a console. now i just need my 2d sonic to come out and everything will be complete.

I am in love! Nothing beats collecting coins and jumping on the heads of your enemy in the side scrolling 2d fashion.
This IS now the reason I want a Wii. I have a FC Twin, which is a NES and SNES in one console and a Gamecube, I didn’t think I needed a Wii…:-D

I’m actually really pumped for this game. New Super Mario Bros. for the DS was just ooozing with fun all over – and this looks to do the same, but with added co-op play – which is looking really sweet.
Simply, I cannot wait!

mario was technically back like this with the New Super Mario Brothers on DS, but hes back now on the Wii. Thank god too. I for some reason don’t like 3-D mario games
Thank god! Classic Mario is back! No 3d worlds, no karts and no fucking sunshine! I’m gonna have to buy a Wii… again.
