Slim135 over on the forzamotorsport.net forums posted that he was banned for putting a bumper sticker on his car in Forza that had the word “Breast” in it to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Slim135 claims to be a supporter of the Susan G Komen foundation and was going to sell the bumber stickers(in game) and donate $1 for every one he sold, and donate up to $500. While I don’t play Forza myself, I’m pretty sure users can sell items for in game credit. Seems like a pretty nice thing to do. He says he is still going to donate the $500.
A reply to his first post said, “Surely you could have done the pink ribbon without the B word?”and while I agree with this, I also disagree because the context which Slim used the word “breast.” In that regard, it should not have been a bannable offense. Another user on the forum in the thread later says, “if they can say *** cancer awareness on morning TV I think its save to say its ok to have it on your forza 3 car”(yes they *** breast).
I guess now I can’t make a car in Forza that says “I Eat Perdue Chicken Breasts.” Seems pretty outrageous huh?
Just note that Slim did not specify whether he had been banned from Xbox live or the game itself, from what other posts on the thread said, I’m going to guess it was just the game, but then again, our own writer John was banned from Xbox Live at one point because his profile said “I like Breasts.” I sent the user a message asking about the ban. I will update if/when I receive a reply.

I think people today are just too easily offended or they just need something to bitch about. I mean, would you rather them be “Tit Cancer Awareness” or “Dirty Pillow Awareness” ? Honestly, I think breast is one of the nicer ways to refer to boobs.
I think that “breast” should be bannable only in certain context, not every time somebody decides to use the word.

I dont think so, unless it is actually offensive. If it were “small breasts are for losers” or “i like big breasts” yeah, that can be taken offensive. But then on the other hand.. why did he really want to show is support? I should donate to the colon cancer foundation and then just have my car with one gigantic assistant, who is helping a doctor. or a open &$Q-hole on the hood.

I’ve seen a car saying AIDS, BUM SEX, BUM BANDIT and a little penis on the side. Also vinyl pictures of naked women, tits and dicks, I haven’t seen those users get banned yet. >_>
