After Microsoft went on their recent banning spree, many pirates and modders were left with consoles that would not work on Xbox Live anymore.  What are they doing with these consoles you may ask?  It appears some are selling these people are selling their banned consoles on none other than Craigslist!  The folks over at Icrontic did a little digging on Craigslist and found some modded consoles that had been banned for sale in their area.

I decided that I would check my area as well as a few others to see if this is happening all over, and low and behold it is!  Banned consoles are infesting Craigslist like a plague.  The following I found in the SF Bay Area, NYC, and Dallas/Fort Worth.

What a great idea huh?!  Sell your console that’s modded and banned to someone else!  Well, it’s not really so nice because it’s banned and they shouldn’t be selling modded consoles in the first place.  Now might be a time to stay away from used 360′s not only from smaller retailers, but Craigslist as well.  I hope one of these modders goes to buy another console to mod and it’s already modded and banned.
