The only two games that came out this year were Uncharted 2 and MW2, so I guess…

Each one of these three games for me were equally as fun as each other, and ADDICTING as each other. I hope that 2010 is just as epic for gaming as 2009 was. IMO this year was the most epic year for gaming so far.
I won’t put them in order because all of them were individually great games:
1) Left 4 Dead 2
2) Batman: Arkham Asylum
3) Dragon Age: Origins
Each game was equally entertaining, had great controls, and left you wanting more.
in no particular order:
1) Batman: AA
2) New Super Mario Bros Wii
3) Demon’s Souls
no i did not forget about Modern Warfare 2. that game is not even in my top 10.

Even thought I only started playing MW2 online for 1 day, I still enjoy the campaign and everything else.
I saw my friend play Uncharted 2, which was EYE-POPPING.
I haven’t played any other game other than those two T_T… I just got my xbox 2 weeks ago xD
umm Uncharted 2 Assassins creed 2 and even though all the glitches and stuff MW2

for the games that i bought over this past year are Modern Warfare 2 Borderlands and Prototype

3- Modern Warfare 2: Not so much as an revolution in gameplay, but being a successful game, it deserves 3rd spot in my opinion.
2- Uncharted 2: Polished gameplay, storyline that easily draws your attention and graphics that are nothing to scoff at. Multiplayer gives Uncharted 2 extra value as well.
1- Borderlands: The underdog. It seamlessly combines fast-paced first-person shooting with customization of RPG elements. The graphic style similar to that Prince of Persia game doesn’t hurt either in my opinion.

So mainly single player orientated games, we don’t get many strong single player focused games nowadays.

The problem with doing the game of the year is that the best games come out a month before Christmas time, so you don’t have much time to play them all
