We have all been killed in an online game one way or another, and have dealt with. Well this is where is story is different, one man playing Counter Strike: Source. Was knifed, and killed, and he decided to take action. Well, he took real action not just simply killing him in the game, and getting revenge.
20 year old French man named Julien Barreaux spent six months tracking down the person who killed him in the game. He found out the person who killed him in a video game only lived a few towns over. So Julien payed him a visit with a real knife, and stabbed him – in the chest.
Now the victim only named as Mikhael, luckily survived the indecent. Just barely though, the knife missed his heart by only an inch.
Barreaux was arrested within the hour and told said he had wanted to see his rival wiped out for killing off his character. He will spend only two years behind bars, and will receive anger management. The judge though, had one final thing to say to Mr. Barreaux.
You are a menace to society, I am frankly terrified of the disproportionate reaction you could have if someone looked at you the wrong way in the streets.

This has made me furious. People really need to sort thereselves out and grow a pair! This has gone to f****** far now and action needs to be taken to a high proportion.

Because people think life is a video game which is SAD, and need help. Or take breaks from games. People wonder why video games are scapegoats these days, this right here is the reason.
Some people that play counter-strike are seriously crazy, just look at their reaction to the update. This guy should be behind bars longer for two years also, I don’t know French law but two years seems like nothing for attempted murder.
