If This Sells For $35,000, I Will Sh*t Myself

NES

Update: The NES actually has been sold. It sold for MORE than $35,000

That’s metaphorically of course. A recent listing of an NES, 4 controllers, a light gun, game genie, and 42 games has hit eBay with a buy it now price of $35,000 dollars. Nothing in the auction is really too rare and there is certainly no Stadium Events to go along with this one, so you’re probably wondering — why the high price?

The seller claims his NES is his prized possession and it’s worth that much to him — but that’s not all folks. The seller is hard up for cash to pay bills and seems to be in a bit of debt. He is offering to the buyer proof of unpaid bills, and once they are paid — proof he actually paid them.

I can show you my bills and credit report to verify it and I will give proof that the bills got paid. I would like to personally hand over the nes bundle system over to the winner and personally thank him/her if possible. God bless.

While the price might seems a little outrageous, you can’t damn the guy for trying. It’s rough times out there and people have to make a living somehow. Maybe a good samaritan will come along and pay the price that eBay user Ronald3868 is asking for — but then everyone will try to sell their NES and NES game library for insane amounts of money.

At this point, the NES has been listed since February. We’ll be sure to keep and eye on this and let you know if it actually sells — but it’s not looking good. If you had the money, would help Ronald out?

I feel for the guy who is on hard times but about a million other people are in far worst shape. If somebody pays this it will be a rich guy who has nothing better to do with his cash than buy this. Stories like this are hard to believe…..I’m sure his bill are legit. I can seel my old system and show that I have bills as well…..good luck to him.

Well there are people out there with quite a bit of money, and instead of spending it on pointless things, they help the little guys out. If I had plenty of money, I would really think about doing this, everyone needs some help every once in a while.

I wouldn’t give this guy money. This is a known scam/gimmick on eBay for years. Last year was the old lady who “found” an original NES in her attic. I bet he’s just lookin’ for a sucker to feel bad…also..in this case, he DID buy all the stuff on eBay and assembled it for this package…ah well……Hmmm… on second though, maybe I should try that….I am still trying to pay off my pop’s hospital bills and cremation to the tune of $20K :( Anyone want to buy an Atari2600 for $80,000????

The games would have to somewhat rare. A lot of people have them, but not too many. I’d buy it so I could shoot that damn dog in the face.
