David Jaffe tries to answer as many questions he can through twitter, and for the most part — he does a decent job of it. This being the internet though, some people get upset when they are not answered. Twitter user, Kertesd, tried the tactic of putting down Jaffe’s upcoming Twisted Metal in hopes that he would receive a response.

Well, much to Kertesd’s surprise, the tweet actually worked and he got a response — but probably not the one he was looking for. David Jaffe had some choice words for Kertesd and all the haters sipping on that Twisted Metal haterade.
Boo Fucking hoo dude, go play something else then.
For all you haters out there, David Jaffe doesn’t really care that you don’t like his games. If you don’t like it, Jaffe is right, you can just go play something else. No need to act like you can do his job better than him when in reality you can’t.

looks good I know the graphics are not very good but Graphix don’t control my lyfe O_o
I won’t lie, TM isn’t on ym wishlist, but if it turns out good, i might get it. It just never appealed much to me.
A classic example of the old adage, “You can make some of the people happy all the time, all of the people happy some of the time but you can’t make all of the people happy all of the time.”
Good for Jaffe. I’m all for developers listening to the consumer, but don’t just say crap like “it sucks,” “it looks like shit.” I bet if people gave developers direct and concise constructive criticism they would be more inclined to listen.
Words clearly said by a man who believes in his project the way it is. I’m sure if you had something constructive to say he’d give a nicer response. Ex) “From watching the trailers for Twisted Metal, I’m concerned about . Is this goin to be a problem?”
That’s the best response I’ve ever seen. Classic Jaffe.
Now for the haters to take his advice…
well since we;re the one’s who (aren’t) gonna be buying his game, i really think he should try and focus on the negative feedback he’s getting. unless he’s trying to make the game a dud!
I’m not going to lie but the graphics of TM sucks. I’m still buying it though.
