29 year old Gregory Reaux has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after he was found guilty of not one, not two, but three counts of armed robbery, and one count of attempted robbery. Reaux received 10 years for each conviction and now he’ll have plenty of time to think about what he’s done.
Reaux robbed at least six different GameStop locations, and it’s reported that he made out with several thousand dollars and “various merchandise” from each of the robberies. Reaux would rob each store with a cut off sleeve as a mask and had a box-cutter as his weapon of choice.
Police set up surveillance outside a store in Mandeville that had not yet been hit. Soon after they set up on Monday night, Reaux showed up. As police approached and tried to stop Reaux for questioning, he dropped a box-cutter and ran behind the store. He found another officer waiting for him.
Reaux is a former GameStop employee who was let go after he abused the companies employee discount and the deals they had. It looks like he was a little disgruntled about that and decided to take unemployment insurance into his own hands.

Wish our law system in England was like that. If he had done that over here, he’d probably get 5 years max.
Another black man raped by the legal system. sweet…
Its not because hes black, its because of armed robbery. If you have ever had someone pull a knife or a gun on you intending to fuck you up its one of the most terrifying moments.
Its ignorant and blind to just say hes in jail because hes black. 10 years is the slandered for sentence for armed robbery 15 years for EACH robbery is the max. Play the race card all you want but he got what he deserves.

And he deserves all those years behind bars. Teach people that stealing is not right, and you must pay the price for breaking the law.
