Super Mario Sweaters Are Expensive In Japan

In my time of writing I’ve come across a lot of items that were overpriced most likely because people put items up for sale before they were ready to part with them, but these sweaters are brand new and are already priced stupid. If you can’t marvel at the sweater marvel at the price — which is stupid.

The sweaters come in gray or navy and can come with or without a hood, and have Mario and Luigi over each breast and there is a secret coin in the pocket which is neat, but by no means is worth 36,000 yen (425 usd). I tried to use Google Translate to figure out why the price is so high, but the Japanese love to make 99% of words on websites images that cannot be translated without knowing the language, thanks a lot.

I guess if you have a crazy amount of money and want to get a Mario Bros. sweater that  will cost about the price a gaming console and a half be my guest, but know this — I will call you stupid.

Teami product page is HERE.

You too you can get a $430 USD Super Mario Cardigan [Akihabara News via Technabob]

They don’t even look that great compared to some of the sweaters and such you can get on Amazon for, like, 20-40 dollars.

Better yet, instead of buying one of these sweaters, you could by half a Mac.

I’m going out on a limb and guessing that its made out of the hair of Miyamoto or has something to do with him. Then again Japan has a way with WTF stuff
