There have been a lot of names from the old school that have crossed my desk like Mario, Pac Man, and even Donkey Kong, but Q*Bert has alluded me — until now. The snapshots where supplied by Karen from Highland Bakery and it appears that from a comment on the Flikr page, if it’s to be believed,  the cake was made for a bachelor party.

I’ve never played Q*Bert and wondered why his name isn’t more prominent so I looked up what the game play was like and when I heard it described as an ‘isometric puzzle game’ it sounded like you needed some college math to play, but there is no doubt Q*Bert is a part of the retro landscape no matter how he looks or plays.
