There are a few glitches in the original release of Super Mario Bros. on the NES that are hard to forget. For example, the infinite 1-Up glitch is one piece of information that will never be erased from my memory. However, there are a few glitches present in the classic game that may not have been so apparent during a time when in-depth guides weren’t readily available online.
To celebrate Mario’s 25th anniversary, Nintendo of Japan decided to highlight a few of these bugs in the form of a short compilation video.

Where’s the glitch that allows you to punch Toad every time he said “Our Princess is in another castle?”

I miss game glitches like that. Now everything is so advanced that you never get any awesome glitches

The 1-Up trick on world 3-1 was legendary back in the day. You could either do it, or you couldn’t, I was one of the few among my friends that could. Good times.

Never knew of any of those glitches except the 1-2 level one.
I love glitches like these, the ones that don’t break the game. I just wish I could find my NES to try and replicate these glitches. I remember some of them when I played this game when I was younger, but I don’t think they were any of these.
