PAX East 2011: Interview – Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon

Alright, so a lot of people out there might have not liked the first Earth Defense Force. In all reality, it wasn’t a terrible game, but it wasn’t a great game either. It was just a mindless, yet somewhat fun shooter. Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon keeps what was fun about the first game and adds some new things to make it better and more fun than the first.

If you're looking for a triple A, big-time, high-end graphics game, then the first EDF is not it. However, if you're looking for a easy to pick up, crazy-fun game, then EDF was it. Mindless shooting of thousands of enemies with your friends, that's what EDF is about. Just from watching this video the game looks better than the first, and just as fun. And at only $39, it seems like it might be worth a try.
