While GTA V has to exists in some secret underground lair at Rockstar, even though we have not seen anything but casting calls, registered domain names and a few other little snippets that may or may not prove that GTA V exists. A posting on the German Gamestop site has a release date for Grand Theft Auto V.
While this in NO WAY confirms that Grand Theft Auto V will be released on January 15th, 2012. Which is a Sunday, which is a very odd release date for a game. Anyways, the more information we have on GTA V the better. Another odd thing about this is the PS3 only listing.
So take it for what its worth, this is probably nothing more than an internal slip up, but stranger things have happened.

January 15th, 2012? That isn't even a date when Rockstar would release their game. It's usually in May or June.

Maybe they got Paul the Octopus to predict the release date of GTA V like they did to predict the World Cup. You know, before he died.

Probably coming out in 2012 (GTA 4 took more time because it was a bigger change), but we still need to get some info on the game.
Wow, Rockstar would probably be pissed off if they said to not release this. I'm hoping that release date is not correct because I can't wait that long!
if there is one thing i know about gamestop its this dont trust gamestop with release dates they never seem to be right

Old news is old. But yeah, Rockstar will probably be pretty pissed if they don't already know.
Oddly enough, this isn't the first time Gamestop has done something like this, they've done it plenty of times. They've revealed games not even known to be in development, release dates, prices, and other things the companies and devs don't want revealed to the public.
It surprises me that they've never taken action against Gamestop, but then again, what would they really do? It seems a lot of people working at Gamestop have strange inside connections to certain developers, be that friends or families, somehow the story always seems to start at Gamestop. It really is the route of all gaming evil.
