New York Landmark Turned Into Companion Cube

In 1967 a sculpture called Alamo was put in place in Manhattan for a six month art installation, but thanks to residents of that time Alamo is still standing over 40 years later. For the age of the large cube sculpture it had a unique experience yesterday thanks to the people in the CalTech Prank Club.

Alamo got to be a weighted companion cube for the day thanks to a fitted fabric covering. The club left a note that that named them as the pranksters, but it seems to borrow very VERY heavily from some of GLaDOS’ dialogue — might even be copied.

Sadly there is no word on how long Alamo was a companion cube.
