Just recently, we encouraged our community members to e-mail the ESA as well various game companies due to their support of the damaging Stop Online Piracy Act. Our own community member DanGlozier66 took charge and sent out mass e-mails to developers and publishers over the issue. While some companies have been decent enough to reply with why they support the bill, SEGA has decided to send out a response that has nothing to do with the issue at hand.
It seems that SEGA just doesn’t care what gamers have to say, or they have nothing to say back to us about their support for a bill that would essentially destroy the internet as we know it. Whatever the case, it seems like a pretty dick move on the part of SEGA not to have some sort of generic response about SOPA ready, but to just send something not even related to the issue.
While I’m sure this wasn’t entirely on purpose, it does show how much SEGA cares about what their fans think. SEGA, I used to love you, but now I find myself at a loss for words over this. You just lost respect not only from me, but one of the people in this community as well. Good Job SEGA. By the way, the last boss in Sonic Generations was stupid, just like your reply to our community member.
