Fans of the Jak and Daxter series on the PlayStation 2 were excited to learn back in November that a collection of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3 was coming to the PlayStation 3 sometime in February. Earlier this morning, the official PlayStation Blog offered a more specific release date – February 7th.
In only a few weeks, PlayStation 3 owners will be able to purchase the Jak and Daxter Collection for only $39.99. As previously stated, this collection features remastered 720p HD versions of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3. In addition to a visual improvement, all three games will feature stereoscopic 3D support as well as over 100 trophies across the entire collection.

Never played them since i was a nintendo guy but I will pick this up and also should pick up the sly collection. Don't really care for ico and shadow
Awesome!! Always wanted to get these games for PS2, but don't have to now. Now to wait for the collection to go on sale so I can pick it up. Sony remastering all these awesome games.

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were some of my favorite PS2 games :( but to each his own. Definitely pick this up, these 3 games are amazing.
As said above definitely worth it. I'd get it if I didn't already own all 3 games... I don't see a point in owning them in HD if I already own them, and this doesn't seem like they're adding anything (trophies don't count as an addition to me.)
I wish this wasnt coming out on the 7th this, Darkness 2, kingdoms of A, something else i think.

im getting all the HD remakes because my whole PS2 libary and my ps2 was stolen by my sisters friends for drug money, in 06 (shes clean now and in another state) So i got a 360 and a really big lock on my door. Someday day i will rebuild it tho for all the games that dont come out in HD.

Okay, okay, okay; in all seriousness, this is a good way to get new people into the Jak series without requiring that they have obsolete hardware while bypassing the Uncanny Valley of PS2-era graphics (not that the Prince of Persia re-release was much better) so I can see how this is a good idea. On the other hand, I would like a new Jak game rather than a remake. Then again, I was looking forward to the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection re-release, so I'm not going to complain.
