Hulu Plus On The Wii Now!

If you remember way back in October of last year Nintendo came out and said that Hulu Plus was going to be on both the Wii and 3DS by the end of the year. While Nintendo and Hulu may be a little late it’s better late than never, right?

The Hulu Plus application appeared on the Nintendo Wii shop yesterday morning ready to be downloaded and used. The interface has been optimized to accommodate the Wii remote’s ability to point and click. There is also good news for people that don’t subscribe to Hulu Plus.

During the first month of the Hulu Plus applications release if you do not currently subscribe to Hulu Plus you will get a two week free trial. Even if you don’t think Hulu Plus is all that at least you got something for nothing — right?

While the spotlight is on the release of the Wii application there was a brief mention that the 3DS application will be out later this year. So keep an eye out for that hopefully sooner rather than later.

How is Hulu Plus compared to Netflix? Since I think you can do Netflix on the Wii, if Hulu Plus can't really compare, I'd see no reason to really have it.
