For all the Sony gamers out there you can hop on the Playstation Store and cast your votes for your favorite games of the year in ten categories. To help make the voting a bit more enticing you will be getting ‘Gamers Choice Awards XMB themes’ for each vote cast and when voting for the ‘Best PSN Indie’ you’ll get a voucher for a free exclusive XMB theme.

The categories are:

Best Online Playable
Best PSN Exclusive
Best PS3 Full Game
Best Playstation Move Game
Best 3D Game
Best Playstation Classic
Best Mini Game
Best PSP Game
Best Indie Game

The results will be posted on the Playstation Blog on March 6, which is only a week, and that will trigger a sale. All the winning games will be on sale for 30% off, but Playstation Plus member will get 50% off.

Between the voting, free XMB themes, and the sales of the winning games the next couple of weeks on the Playstation Store should be pretty lively.
