BioShock: Infinite, the title that Irrational Games has been working on for the last four years following the launch of the original BioShock, has been confirmed by 2K Games to have a release date of October 16th in North America, and October 19th worldwide.
Taking the BioShock series to the sky as opposed to underwater, BioShock: Infinite promises to be a game that according to Ken Levine will “[dwarf] the original in scope and ambition.” Taking control of a man named Booker DeWitt, you and a woman with mysterious powers, Elizabeth, will try to survive as you make your way through the floating city of Columbia.
This highly anticipated game will launch simultaneously on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
