2013 or 2014. That’s about when I think it will happen. The wii could well be the first of the next gen consoles. I think they’ll go in with improves motion controls from even Wii motion+, hopefully controllers with more buttons or more buttons that games regularly use. I also think it will be HD and that they MIGHT, if we are very very very lucky, create a decent online system.
Naturally this will cause the console to become larger (physically), and hopefully it will get more 3rd parties on board.

the people responding to this post are not representative of the wider population, being primarily users of FPS’s. as a psychologist i’d say that both the heart rate and pencil tests hold water, but then i am not biased as i am not in your group. there is some groupthink going on in this gaming forum – you are mostly saying what you think your fellow gamers want to hear so you dont find yourselves outside the group. there is also a moral issue at hand – immoral not to pick up the pens, and true to the text books, your gaming group – your forum responders – is reacting very predictably, with aggressive denial of the moral truth. but this post wont change you all, just to let you know that psychologists are out there studying your comments. but nothing new going on on this particular forum I’m afraid. of course if i am correct, this post will either be deleted or receive aggressive attacks and lots of thumbs down.

I wonder if that’s the same with girls?? haha. Because I have seen no decrease in my academics. In fact, I’ve seen an increase. Of course I’ve become less able to focus on homework, but that’s not because of video games. I hardly play video games during the week. I haven’t even played for about a month now.
