Again stories like this just piss me off. These kind of stories just give gamers a bad rep. But what really makes me mad is the guy that the shooter told he wanted to ‘start a massacre’ not think about it. I mean if you really think that the man was intent on doing harm, then stop his ass plain and simple. End of Rant.
RIP and also inb4 fox blames games
Video game like?
You mean he was respawning and throwing controllers out the window?
I wouldn't consider 3 sentences to be a rant.
Anyway this is pretty fucked up. /end rant
Sometimes human like him is such a disgrace. It is truly degrading how human being went down to such a level of corruptness. Truly another reason for me to despise some human being. And to add insult to injury, his insanity is based on a video game. How absurd.
ok, no one tell fox news this. Gamers will never hear the end of it.
Whether or not video games did "inspire" him to go on this rampage, they should not be blamed for what happened. This Ryan is obviously mentally unstable for even contemplating massacring people "like in Grand Theft Auto".
It's sad because FOX News is probably going to take this story and run with it as if Ryan is mentally stable and a perfect citizen when it's obvious that he isn't (at least from this story).
Media:Hurr Hurr Hurr U Mad Gamers?
But Seriously im tired of the fucking media/fox news blaming everything on video games EXAMPLE TIME
Did John Marston tell you to go to a bar and start a showdown with someone???
Did Niko Bellic tell you to go rob a bank, bang hookers, and Start Random Rampages?
Did Carl Johnson tell you to go start a gang and kill people,do drugs,go have random sex with hookers, street race, and do abunch of other illegal shit?
Did MORTAL KOMBAT tell you to go beat the holy shit outta someone and throw them off a cliff to there death????
Media has no right blaming video games on people's stupid ass decision
And one last thing
Lemme tell you the the things I find wrong with this.
1) Love should have reported Donovan for such thoughts as "starting a massacre" on the ship. If I heard someone say that, I wouldn't let them near any weapons... or cooking utensils.
2) "After a night of drinking" they gave Donovan a weapon. Now, who in their right mind would give a drunk man a fucking automatic weapon? Seriously? All of this shit could have been avoided if they didn't give him the gun. Love again could also have been to blame for not reporting him sooner.
3) When he was opening fire, why didn't anyone fire back? The guy is a madman and there is proof! Knowledge of it at the time or not if he has the balls to do it when he's drunk, he's thought about it in a sober state of mind! They should have opened fire back as soon as the maniac started shooting! If they did this, that Lt. wouldn't be dead now and the other wouldn't be in critical condition.
4) What ticks me off is how this time a game probably did influence him. If I'm not mistaken it read "He told Love that he wanted to stage a 'killing frenzy' like in Grand Theft Auto." Just as there is a rise in status there is an immediate fall. I wouldn't surprised if Fox stuck their shit covered noses in this story and state "THIS IS WHY VIDEO GAMES ARE BAD." Then again, if this was the guy's state of mind, it wouldn't be the video game's entire fault although it did partake as influence to the thoughts of a true madman.
Anyway, the blood vessel in my head just about popped so...
Of course videogames are to blame. He makes up .00000000000001% of the videogaming community, and yet because of that we are seen as the badguys.
Crying isn't just for sadness
people should really do more tests to see if people are mentally stable enough to handle weapons, it should be common sense.
Lol Typical media is typical. We should just start ignoring this crap now. No matter how much close minded morons want video games gone, it's not going to happen. And they can just fucking deal with it.

Jeez, do they let anyone have a gun on that vessel? You'd think they'd be able to at least smell it on him and NOT let him have a gun while he has been drinking.
everything that happens nowadays is the fault of vidja games
Damn! people really are scary when they snap
Ohh god, my tv/computer screen is going to end up with chocolate milk all over it again when I read/watch Fox's response...
i hate that they always blame videogames for this kind of shit.
but honestly this brings back memories of the boat level in the darkness
The man himself blamed video games, but it is obvious there is something mentally wrong with any person who can go on a shooting rampage. I also must ask why the soldier he spoke to about all this didn't report this? If anyone would even suggest that to me, Id be concerned.
And yes Fox News, enjoy your bashing fest upon video games. I'm certain we will enjoy the inaccurate shitfest you will hail upon us.
fox news does these things to garner ratings... they want to make it so outrageous on their stories that it will bring in the viewers... just boycott fox and all of its television services and you will see how quickly they change their policies on airing nonsensical garbage that they do now... but that's just my wishful thinking... /rant
